I have a beautiful Chicago condo listing in a great building (Park Alexandria in the Loop) that has some significant upgrades and a spectacular view. It has been on the market for 79 days as of today (10-25-2012). The problem is that it is vacant and does not show off it’s true potential, to date we have had 27 showings. This unit is 1 of only 5 units in the building that clear the adjacent building and give you that beautiful view that is hard to get at this area of town. I think when you have a vacant unit the premise is that the sellers are desperate, even when they are not. We are priced at $382,000 including parking. I have now decided to try staging for the 1st time.
