Ebertfest: The Show Will Go On

This will be the first year without founder and Pulitzer Prize-winning film critic Roger Ebert, and an emotional time for many involved in the festival. Some sources say that this year’s Ebertfest will be a tribute to the late, great film critic. Originally, the fest was comically named Roger Ebert’s Overlooked Film Festival. Lollapalooza Tickets: Sold Out

Just an hour after they went on sale on Wednesday, April 3, Lollapalooza single-day tickets sold out. The three-day annual festival, held in Grant Park, is a huge hit in Chicago every year. Summer Energizing: Free Workout Sessions at Millenium Park

A great place to work out for free this summer is Millennium Park on 201 E. Randolph St. You can get your blood flowing and your muscles toned outside in the open air on the beautiful at Jay Pritzker Pavilion on the Great Lawn. It’s a great way to prepare for how you want to look in your summer wear! This year, the Taste of Chicago, an annual outdoor food festival held in Grant Park, will feature Fun, a hipster-pop Grammy-winning trio that is best know for their 2012 hit “We Are Young.” According to the Huffington Post, the Brooklyn-based trio is expected to open the first night of the festival along with Delta Spirit on July 10.
